1. What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage, are small files or data that a website saves on your device to work properly or to remember your choices.
2. Technical cookies and data stored in your browser
They are needed for the site to work and do not require consent. In your browser we store:
- your cookie choice, so we don’t ask you on every page;
- the announcements you have closed, so we don’t show them again;
- the excursions and stays you saved to your favourites;
- once you sign in to your account, the session cookie that keeps you signed in.
3. Analytics cookies
Only if you accept, we use analytics tools to understand which pages are most useful and improve the site. Data is aggregated and, where possible, IP addresses are anonymised. [Tool and provider to be specified once enabled.]
4. Third-party services
- Maps: the OpenStreetMap map only loads when you press “Show map”; from then on OpenStreetMap’s policy applies.
- Payments: Stripe’s payment page uses its own technical and anti-fraud cookies.
- Links to Google Maps, WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram open external services with their own cookie rules.
5. How to change your choices
You can change your mind at any time by clearing the site data in your browser settings: next time we will ask for your consent again. You can also block cookies in your browser, but some features may stop working.
